Our red grapefruit juice has a sweeter, more balanced flavor than the majority of grapefruit grown in the U.S. and Mexico. The deep red color and high Citrus Red Value make it ideal for blending with pink and white grapefruit juice. And with our standard juice averaging an 11.86 sugar-to-acid ratio, it’s anything but average. Custom blends to your specifications are also available.
The unique climate and soil in the Rio Grande Valley produce four different oranges that blend perfectly into our refreshing, naturally low-acid orange juice. Consisting mostly of Marrs, Hamlin and navel oranges, these varieties are sweet, which means they blend well with the more tart Valencia.
Limes are the smallest fruit in the citrus family, but our Persian limes are larger than the rest and full of high-acid, aromatic citron flavor.
In an effort to be fully sustainable, RGJ utilizes every part of the fruit we receive. Non-edible portions are transformed into animal feed products and chemicals that are used in a variety of consumer goods.
